Эй, я был просто пацаном,
Не артистом, не певцом,
Но я познал прекрасный русских сказок дух! (Ух!)
И без сказки моя няня,
Не давала жить ни дня мне.
Эй, Арина! почитай мне сказку вслух!

Ну-у-у, ты расскажешь сказку мне!

А-а-а я ведь без сказки не усну,

Ещё хотя б одну!

Я теперь пишу стихи,
Вмиг рифмую две строки;
Нету темы, что не сладил бы я с ней, хей!
Но со сказкой - вот проблема -
Что ни ткни, то всё поэма.

Стал великий я поэт,
В каждой школе мой портрет,

Но пишу я детям сказки,
Всерьёз, не для отмазки,
Чтобы русский дух не вывелся у нас!
